Linear Algebra Decoded

Linear Algebra Decoded 1.26

This app for solving problems about matrices, vectors and linear transformation

Linear Algebra Decoded is an application designed especially for those who want to understand the bases of algebra, but it also can be used by everyone who has to solve algebra problems.
After opening the program you discover a nice and easy-to-use interface. The left side is occupied by the problems list. There are three kinds of them organized in a branch structure: problems about matrices, about vectors, and about linear transformation. The buttons are placed at the top of the interface, at close reach. There are three main fields: Edit, Results and Questions, which help you solve the math problems. Once the user has filled in all the data in the Edit field and has pressed the Solve button, in the Results field the problem is solved explicitly, step by step, with all the explanations necessary. The data can be complete in two ways, in tabular or text mode. This is just a matter of choice because the problems are solved correctly in both cases. The third field is useful especially for young teachers, when they want to prepare an exercise sheet. If you want, you can clean the fields, a button being designed just for that. The results can be saved as RTF file format, or they can be printed.

In my opinion, this is a very useful application, created especially for math beginners, because they can see practical examples of solved algebra problems. It is useful both for students and for teachers. The only problem I can see is that the program is available only in English and Spanish. The design is not crowded and this makes it easy to understand and to use, even if the user is not experienced.
